What you’ll do
We are looking for a friendly and communicative Complex Care Assistant to support a young child who is fully dependent for all aspects of their care 24/7.
Their care needs consist of:
Repositioning, mobility requirements and manual handlingDual Jejunostomy and Gastrostomy Button for feeding and administering medicationMonitoring of skin and tissue viabilityComplex Epilepsy and Dystonia, requiring rescue medicationOxygen, suctioning and saturation monitoringRespiratory requirements, interventions of bag and mask, oxygen and stimulation. This can be multiple times per day. Physiotherapy progamme What you’ll need
For this role, you would be required to have experience caring for children with complex requirements in a home care setting. Experience in respiratory management would be beneficial.
