About this role
We’re seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead night shift operations and oversee a team of 12 to 15 engineering staff. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, high-output environment where safety, reliability, and teamwork are paramount. The position is based at a modern, fully automated facility in Denton, TX.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and direct engineering personnelTrain new employees and demonstrate plant-specific proceduresRepair and maintain plant machinery and equipmentRead and implement schematics and mechanical drawingsPromote and monitor safety complianceMaintain clean and organized work areasEnsure compliance with company policies (EEO, Safety, etc.)Participate in hiring and disciplinary decisions What We're Looking For
Required
2+ years of supervisory experience in industrial operationsAssociate Degree in Electronics/Electrical TechnologyNight shift availability (alternating 4/3 schedule, 12-hour shifts)Experience with ERP systems (SAP), preventive maintenance, and system changesStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsPhysical capability for plant mobility and equipment handlingStrong communication skills in EnglishSafety compliance and proper use of PPEPreferred
Experience with Allen Bradley systems and PLCsBoiler/refrigeration license or other applicable certificationsForklift license (or willingness to obtain)Completion of formal management trainingExperience managing a Preventive Maintenance ProgramCharacter Traits That Set You Apart
