Job Overview:
We are looking for Master Technicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with the service department to distribute work to techniciansManage and oversee individual technician workloads and overall workflow in the service areaTrain and mentor new technicians Help other technicians diagnose and repair vehicles when necessary (i.e., misdiagnosis, employee development, etc.)Educate technician team to uphold brand and quality standards of the team to troubleshoot guests concerns quickly and effectivelyManage and maintain shop supplies and equipment Monitor bulk fluid levelsMonitor shop efficiency through technician hours reports and ticket audit processManage scan tool subscriptionsDistribute shop housekeeping tasks among all technicians by promoting our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organizationEnforce safety regulations and protocols Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate guest concerns and assist with guest complaint resolution when necessary Qualifications:
Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanicExcellent automotive diagnostic skillsA strong investment in toolsAbility to Flag 40+ hours per weekASE A1-A8 Certifications & Master L1 Certification or similar preferredDiesel experience preferredCapable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehiclesMeet or exceed hourly goalsAptitude for learning additional skills and processesProfessional appearance and strong communicationA desire for long-term career developmentPhysical Requirements:
Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 poundsBe able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their headWork in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repairHave the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand toolsWalk/stand for the majority of their workdayDrive manual transmissions vehiclesEfficiently navigate a computer Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first.
