Position: Mid-Level Construction Accountant
Location: Flexible (Work-from-home with minimum 1 day office presence per week)
Preferred ERP Experience: Acumatica; Commercial ERP systems at a minimum
Education: Accounting degree preferred, but not required
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting, with experience in construction, federal government contracting, payroll, accounts payable and receivables, job costing, and budgeting
Responsibilities:
Oversee financial aspects of federal government contracting projectsManage payroll, accounts payable, and receivables efficientlyUtilize ERP systems (preferably Acumatica) for job costing and budgetingReconcile various accounts with attention to detail and accuracyLeverage strong Excel skills for in-depth data analysis and financial reportingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and compliance
Experience in construction accounting and federal government contractingProficiency in ERP systems, particularly Acumatica or similar commercial systemsStrong command of payroll, accounts payable, and receivables processesSolid background in job costing, budgeting, WIPs and financial analysisAbility to reconcile diverse accounts independently, resolving discrepancies efficientlyExcellent organizational, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to work independentlyBS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience Perks:
