About this role

As an SSG Project Manager, you'll lead projects from initial pursuit through final turnover. You'll oversee multiple projects simultaneously, balancing client expectations, operational constraints, schedules, budgets, and team performance.

You will:

Lead cradle-to-grave delivery of renovation, retrofit, tenant improvement, and special projects ranging from approximately $500K to $15MManage estimating, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, forecasting, scheduling, execution, closeout, and client handoverDevelop project strategies that minimize disruption to occupied and operating facilitiesBuild strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, building operators, and internal teamsIdentify project risks early and create practical solutions that keep work movingDrive accurate forecasting and financial performance through proactive project monitoring and reportingManage project budgets, change orders, cost controls, and subcontractor buyoutsCoordinate project teams including Superintendents, Coordinators, consultants, and subcontractorsDevelop schedules and execution plans that support accelerated project timelinesChampion safety, quality, Lean construction practices, and continuous improvementContribute to business development efforts by supporting proposals, presentations, and client relationship growthDeliver projects that exceed client expectations while maintaining profitability and operational excellenceWhat Makes SSG Different?

5+ years of experience with a general contractor on commercial, institutional, renovation, retrofit, or tenant improvement projects1+ years in a Project Manager roleProven experience delivering projects from pre-construction through closeoutStrong understanding of construction management, contracts, procurement, risk management, and project controlsDemonstrated success managing projects in occupied or operational environmentsExceptional forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and financial management skillsExperience implementing and managing change orders, project reporting, and client communicationsSkilled at balancing multiple projects, competing priorities, and accelerated schedulesStrong relationship-builder with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholdersExcellent communicator who can navigate challenging situations with confidence and professionalismProficient with project management and scheduling softwareValid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required Compensation Transparency
