Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm
Reports To: Director of Education
The Early Childhood Teacher will provide direct instruction to three to six students with autism within a classroom using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) including but not limited to: Discrete Trial Training, Verbal Behavior, Natural Environment Teaching and Social Skills Group. All behavioral services are implemented and supervised by licensed BCBA and BCaBA staff.

Additional, preferred qualifications include:
A master’s degree in education or related field is strongly preferred. A bachelors degree with equivalent training and experience will be accepted.Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Virginia license as a teacherExperience in the application of ABAExperience teaching in a special education environment is strongly preferredAbility to independently and repeatedly lift, move and carry objects weighing up to fifty (50) poundsValid Virginia driver’s licenseLegally authorized to work in the United States of America
