As an Information Security Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our data and systems. This is a full-time remote position based in the Philippines and will be part of our Engineering department.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and manage the company's information security programImplement security measures, including encryption protocols, access controls, and regular security auditsEnsure compliance with data protection regulations such as SOC2 and ISO27001Train staff and foster a culture of data security throughout the organizationMonitor emerging threats and proactively enhance security protocolsCollaborate with the engineering team to ensure the secure development and operation of our systems Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related fieldAt least five years of experience in information security, preferably in a technology companyDeep understanding of data protection regulations and standardsExperience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS and Microsoft AzureExcellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressureStrong communication skills and the ability to work well in a remote team Canyon GBS Inc. offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid vacation, and more.
