Build the automation backbone for embedded software engineering
You want to do more than operate CI systems – you want to design and evolve the automation backbone behind modern embedded software development?
As a DevOps Engineer for Embedded Software Automation & CI/CD, you will build, operate and continuously improve the automation ecosystem, CI/CD pipelines and development toolchains that enable fast, reliable and scalable software delivery for innovative eBike components.
Working in an international and agile DevOps team, you will play a key role in improving developer experience, software quality and release efficiency.
Your contribution to something big:
Design, implement, operate, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing for embedded systemsDevelop and maintain automation solutions and scripts using Python, Groovy and BashEnhance and standardize the embedded development toolchain based on Git, Docker, Jenkins / GitHub ActionsProvide and maintain containerized development environments to ensure reproducibility and efficiencySupport developers and testers as a technical point of contact for CI/CD, automation and tooling topicsContinuously improve build and validation processes using tools such as CMake, Ninja, Clang-Tidy and GcovrContribute to software quality and observability by collecting, structuring and visualizing relevant data and KPIsImprove the availability and usability of engineering data across the software lifecycleCollaborate with Product Owners, Software Architects and Quality Managers on development and release strategiesTake ownership of topics, identify optimization potential and proactively drive improvements What distinguishes you:
Education
MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field - or equivalent practical experienceExperience
2+ years of experience in DevOps, software automation or CI/CDIdeally within an embedded software environmentKnow how
Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD and automation tools:
Docker, Git, Jenkins / GitHub Actions, Groovy, Bash, PythonExperience with build and development tooling:
CMake or Bazel, Ninja, Clang-Tidy, GcovrFamiliarity with cloud/infrastructure tools such as:
Terraform, AWS, ArtifactoryKnowledge of observability and monitoring tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Grafana) is a plusNice to have: experience with compilers (GCC, Clang, GHS) and tools like Prometheus or OpenSearchLanguages
Fluent in English and Portuguese (preferably)Working Style and Methods
