Our Global Product & Service Team is building a next-generation workflow and approval platform serving nearly 500,000 users and approximately 1,000 internal customers worldwide.
Built on OutSystems Low-Code/No-Code and evolving into an AI-native platform powered by automation, GenAI, and Agentic AI, it supports mission-critical business processes across a global corporation.
This is not a short-term testing assignment. It is a long-term product transformation where quality engineering, intelligent automation, reliability, and customer trust are critical to success.

🎯 Your Mission
Lead and continuously improve the end-to-end Quality Engineering strategy for our global workflow platform.
The role combines approximately:
70% hands-on quality engineering, automation, and test strategy30% team leadership, coaching, and capability developmentYou will collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, architects, DevOps, operations, and global stakeholders to make quality a shared product responsibility.
🧠 Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Strategy and Ownership
Own and improve the end-to-end test and Quality Engineering strategyEstablish risk-based testing, quality gates, release criteria, and measurable quality standardsEnsure coverage across functional, API, integration, regression, performance, security, accessibility, and production validationDrive shift-left and shift-right quality practicesProvide evidence-based release readiness and go/no-go recommendationsTrack KPIs including automation coverage, defect leakage, regression duration, test stability, and release confidence2. Hands-On Automation Engineering
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright with PythonBuild reliable automated tests for web applications, APIs, integrations, workflows, and critical business journeysPerform manual and exploratory testing where automation is insufficientIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelinesImprove test reusability, reporting, data management, maintainability, and execution speedReduce flaky tests and establish automation coding and review standards3. Requirements and Product Testability
Review requirements, designs, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteriaChallenge ambiguity and identify risks, dependencies, edge cases, and negative scenarios earlyImprove testability, traceability, and Definition of Ready with Product Owners and Business AnalystsPromote quality-by-design rather than testing only at the end of delivery4. Integration and Non-Functional Quality
Strengthen testing for APIs, integrations, business rules, permissions, and approval workflowsPlan and execute performance, load, stress, scalability, resilience, and recovery testingCollaborate with Architecture, DevOps, Security, and Operations to ensure global platform reliability5. AI-Driven Quality Engineering
Apply AI across requirement analysis, test design, test data, automation, defect analysis, and regression optimizationExplore Agentic AI for intelligent test generation, execution, monitoring, and continuous learningEnsure human review, traceability, security, and governance of AI-generated testing assetsMeasure AI value through improved coverage, productivity, defect detection, and cycle time6. Team Leadership and Collaboration

Must Have
7+ years of experience in software testing and Quality Engineering, with a strong automation focusExperience as a Test Lead, QA Lead, Automation Lead, or Senior Quality EngineerStrong hands-on expertise in Playwright with PythonProven experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworksExperience testing enterprise web applications, APIs, integrations, and complex workflowsStrong knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, risk-based testing, and Quality Engineering practicesAbility to review requirements, test cases, automation scripts, and release qualityExperience leading and coaching QA engineersStrong analytical, problem-solving, English communication, and documentation skillsHigh ownership, reliability, and product-oriented thinkingISTQB or equivalent testing certificationStrong Advantages
