Machine Design (Factory Automation)
Design machines, mechanical systems, and automation equipment for factory automation projects.Develop innovative mechanical concepts and transform them into practical design solutions.Modify and optimize existing machine designs to meet customer requirements while ensuring quality, safety, and manufacturability.Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools.Select standard components and prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).Collaborate closely with Electrical, Software, and Manufacturing teams throughout the development process.Support prototype assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.Mechanical Product Development
Analyze customer requirements and translate them into mechanical design specifications.Develop mechanical products from concept through detailed design and release.Create and maintain engineering documentation, including 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, Engineering Change Requests (ECR), and related technical documents.Perform design verification and support product validation activities.Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, quality requirements, and manufacturing constraints.Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.0-3 years of experience in mechanical design, machine design, product development, internship, or academic projects.Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD).Basic understanding of:Machine design principlesManufacturing and machining processesMaterial selectionGD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)Engineering drawings and BOM creationBasic knowledge of factory automation systems and mechanical components is an advantage.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills in English.Willingness to learn, self-motivated, and proactive.Good teamwork and attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications
Internship, academic project, or practical experience related to machine design, product development, or factory automation.Familiarity with standard mechanical components such as MISUMI, THK, SMC, HIWIN, Festo, or similar.Knowledge of mechanism simulation, motion analysis, DFM, DFA, or FMEA is a plus.Experience working with prototype assembly, testing, or troubleshooting is an advantage.Ability to communicate in Japanese or Chinese is a plus.
