About this role

1. Manufacturing Systems Support Provide technical support for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

• Configure, maintain, and optimize manufacturing IT applications.

• Troubleshoot production system issues to minimize downtime.

• Coordinate system start-ups, modifications, and deployment activities.

• Support production teams in implementing manufacturing process requirements through IT solutions.

2. IT Operations & Infrastructure

• Coordinate the entire lifecycle of all manufacturing IT clients and infrastructure

• First-level support and administration of production servers

• Support manufacturing databases (Oracle, SQL-Server, etc.).

• Monitor system performance, backups, and recovery processes.

• Manage software updates and maintenance activities

• Perform application and infrastructure Migrations

• Independently execute network change requests and manage IT requirements for new equipment installations and plant relocations.

3. Industrial IT Security (OT Security)

• Implement and maintain Industrial IT Security requirements.

• Ensure compliance with Bosch One Industrial IT Security standards.

• Support vulnerability management, patching, access management, and risk assessments.

• Serve as the local coordinator for IT/OT security, aligning system requirements between manufacturing operationsin the plant and central guidelines.

• Coordinate cybersecurity measures for manufacturing and OT environments.

4. Incident & Change Management

• Lead incident investigation and root cause analysis.

• Coordinate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Manage system changes according to approved procedures.

• Maintain system documentation and operating concepts.

5. User Support & Training

• Train Manufacturing associates and engineers on manufacturing IT systems.

• Develop user guides and work instructions.

• Provide consultation for process improvements and digitalization initiatives.

• Participate in global competence networks and best-practice sharing.

6. Continuous Improvement (CIP)

• Support Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory initiatives.

• Drive digitalization and automation initiatives on the manufacturing floor.

• Analyze production data and develop improvement solutions.

• Managing communication, collaborate with stockholder in Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, Engineering, Facilityto the IT and digitalization topics.

• Degree in technical study, such as technical information technology, automation engineering, electrical engineering or similar.

• Strong understanding of machine communication and networking in manufacturing industry.

• Solid experience in programming of any language.

• Basic knowledge in PLC programming.

• Proven knowledge of server configuration and administration.

• Basic knowledge of the server operating systems Windows and Linux

• Hands-on experience of the database management systems Oracle and MS SQL Server

• Basic understanding of IT systems and infrastructure within manufacturing environments.

• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in utilizing modern digital collaboration and communication tools.

• Excellent command of English as a business communication language.

• Ability to build effective networks and collaborate with Process Competence Networks (CNs) and othermanufacturing plants.

• Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Openness and willingness to work in multicultural and international environments.

• Understanding of IT/OT integration and cybersecurity.
