We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team in our Columbia branch. As a Counter Sales Associate, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our valued customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchasesOperate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficientlyMaintain a clean and organized sales counter areaDemonstrate in-depth product knowledge to help customers make informed decisionsHandle credit cards, and other payment methods with precisionResolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and empathetic mannerRestock merchandise and assist with inventory managementCollaborate with team members to maintain a positive shopping environmentAdhere to company policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations High school diploma or equivalentPrevious retail or customer service experience preferredExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectivelyStrong math skills for accurate transaction processingProficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systemsIn-depth product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about our product lineDemonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and supportive attitudeAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficientlyPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 poundsBasic computer skills and attention to detailTeam player with a collaborative mindset Assist in warehouse when needed for shipping & receiving when volume is high.· Regular Attendance & Punctuality are vital to succeed.
Be willing to become forklift certified.
Preferred Skills:
