About this role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team in Norman, OK. In this role, you will oversee daily production operations, lead a team of production associates, and ensure that all manufacturing processes meet our quality standards and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will be a decisive leader with strong organizational skills and a commitment to operational excellence.

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring schedules are met and production targets are achievedLead, train, and mentor production team members, providing performance feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvementMonitor production processes and equipment performance, identifying and resolving operational issues promptlyImplement and enforce workplace safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a safe working environmentAnalyze production data and key performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvementsManage inventory levels, material flow, and resource allocation to optimize production efficiencyConduct quality inspections and ensure products meet established specifications and customer requirementsCommunicate effectively with management, maintenance, and other departments to coordinate operationsPrepare production reports and documentation, maintaining accurate records of output, downtime, and incidentsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of lean manufacturing practices Basic Qualifications:

Associates degree or 10+ years of experience working in manufacturing environments3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environmentExperience in managing production teamsWorking knowledge in production planning, scheduling, and inventory managementProficiency in analyzing production metrics and performance dataKnowledge of workplace safety regulations and OSHA compliance requirementsExperience with quality management systemsPreferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field Excellent organizational and time management skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesFamiliarity with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologiesExperienced in coil assembly or fabrication in a manufacturing environment Background in training and developing production staffStrong interpersonal and communication skills Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans
