We're looking for a friendly and professional UPG Counter Sales Associate to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City. In this role, you will be the face of our organization, delivering exceptional customer service while processing sales transactions and providing product expertise to our valued customers. You will work in a fast-paced counter environment, managing customer interactions with efficiency and professionalism while maintaining a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.
Process customer transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems while maintaining efficient workflow and attention to detailProvide knowledgeable product recommendations and assistance to customers at the counter, identifying their needs and suggesting relevant solutionsHandle cash payments, card transactions, and other payment methods with accuracy and precisionMaintain organized inventory displays and assist with stock management as needed to ensure product availabilityAnswer customer inquiries professionally and resolve concerns with a customer-focused and empathetic approachBuild positive customer relationships through friendly, courteous, and inclusive interactionsSupport the sales team by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant products to drive sales goalsEnsure the counter area remains clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shiftFollow company policies and procedures consistently while maintaining professional standardsContribute to a collaborative team environment by supporting colleagues and working together toward shared objectivesDemonstrate resilience and flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and customer demands Proven customer service experience in a retail or counter sales environmentProficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skillsStrong mathematical abilities and cash handling experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanorAbility to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy, fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing and payment handlingProfessional attitude with a customer-focused mindset and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to perform physical tasks as required for the roleDemonstrated resilience and flexibility in adapting to changing work demandsPreferred: Previous sales experience or product knowledge in the relevant industryPreferred: Bilingual capabilitiesPreferred: Experience with inventory management systems Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans
