About this role
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Warehouse/Driver to join our team in Norman, OK. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods within our warehouse facility and making local deliveries to our customers while ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
Operate company vehicles to transport materials and products within the warehouse and to local destinations in Norman and surrounding areasLoad and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacksPerform pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating conditionMaintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumptionAssist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse inventoryEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and company policiesCommunicate effectively with warehouse staff and customersPerform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles and equipment as neededContribute to the overall efficiency and organization of the warehouse Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious warehouse or driving experience preferredAbility to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacksForklift certification is a plusBasic computer skills for data entry and inventory managementExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyPhysical stamina to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularlyKnowledge of local traffic laws and regulationsFamiliarity with Norman, Oklahoma area roads and traffic patternsAbility to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and holidaysExcellent communication and customer service skillsProven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
