About this role
Teachers are responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising educational programs for a group of children.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Arrange and decorate classroom and maintain a comfortable environmentDetermine cognitive, social, and physical needs of childrenDevelop a curriculum plan and carry out all indoor and outdoor activitiesOrganize and assemble materials for a variety of learning experiencesCreate periodic progress reports regarding development of individual childrenAssist children with self-help skillsSupervise snack and meal timesSet-up classroom naptimeDirect and supervise Teacher’s AideEnforce standards of behavior with approved discipline techniquesMonitor children’s interaction and help solve conflicts High school diploma or GED equivalentMust have minimum of twelve units of Child development or Early Child Development EducationToddle teacher must include three units in Infant-Toddler Development Learn more about us and view our current openings please visit our web-site at http://www.borregomedical.org/
