Pick up and deliver freightTarp/secure load as requiredInsure safe and timely loading/unloading of productMaintain daily safety checklist and perform all required inspectionsMaintain electronic logbookUpdate On-board Computer as requiredMaintain trip reportsManage Proof of Delivery Paperwork from customersCommunicate/interact with customersOther duties as required.Monday thru Friday work week
Qualifications:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s license18 months of recent tractor trailer driving experience, preferably flatbedsMinimum 22 years of ageSafe Driving Record: Including no DUIs in last 7 years; no more than one preventable accident or one violation of motor vehicle laws within the year preceding applicationPhysical ability to secure/tarp loadsGood customer service skillsAbility to read customer orders, safety regulations, on-board computerCriminal record is taken on case-by-case basis
