Job summary As a Theatre Assistant, you will support nurses and operating department practitioners in ensuring the smooth and safe running of theatre lists. You will be involved in patient care, theatre preparation, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention at all times.

Main duties of the job Supporting the theatre team in delivering safe, highquality patient care Assisting with patient transfers, positioning, and escorting patients to and from theatre Preparing theatres before lists, between cases, and at the end of sessions Cleaning and maintaining theatre equipment and environments in line with infection control standards Transporting equipment, medical records, specimens, and linen as required Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team

Spire Nottingham Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a for a motivated and caring Theatre Assistant to join our busy Theatre department. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the multidisciplinary theatre team and delivering highquality, patientfocused care.
