About this role
Own and continuously improve end-to-end financial processes and coordinate accounting and reporting topics with the Shared Service Center and relevant RTL Group finance functions.Ensure effective use and continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA across Finance processes.Lead and develop the local Accounting team.Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes in close collaboration with the RTL Shared Service Center.Coordinate statutory financial statements and the annual audit (JAP) with KPMG.Act as key interface between the business, Shared Service Center, RTL Group finance functions, auditors and tax advisors.Drive process improvements, internal controls, automation and Finance transformation initiatives.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or comparable qualification.5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Audit, Finance Operations or Financial Process Management.Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, with experience in process design, optimization and stakeholder management across Finance and the wider organization.Hands-on SAP S/4HANA knowledge beneficial.Experience with monthly and annual closing processes and ideally working with a Shared Service Center.Experience working with auditors and tax advisors.First leadership experience and strong stakeholder-management skills.Structured, hands-on and process-oriented mindset with an interest in automation and AI in Finance.Fluent German and English.
