Berman Kia is seeking motivated and enthusiastic experienced technicians to join our dynamic and growing service team!
Location: Lincolnwood, IL
Schedule: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Pay Scale: $20.50 - $47.50/HR (Based on Experience, ASE Certifications, and/or Training)
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.Work on complex repairs, including engine, transmission, and suspension work.Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and report findings to service advisors.Ensure all repairs and maintenance work are performed according to brand standards and procedures.Participate in ongoing training programs to continue advancing technical skills and obtain higher certifications.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and standards.Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.Benefits:

At least 3 years of experience in an automotive repair setting required.ASE CertificationsEnthusiasm for learning and hands-on technical work is essential.Understanding of automotive systems (engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, brakes). Ability to work in a team environment, follow instructions, and take direction from senior technicians.Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and a willingness to learn and improve problem-solving techniques.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
