Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with applicable legislation, policies, and proceduresProvide leadership, supervision, and direction to pipefitting crews on sitePlan, coordinate, and oversee daily work activities to meet project schedules and quality requirementsRead and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout and execution requirementsEnsure proper installation of piping systems including:Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipeWelding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and joining piping systemsOversee installation of supports, valves, piping, and control systemsEnsure crews perform system testing, flushing, and leak checksTroubleshoot field issues and coordinate resolutions with engineering and other tradesMonitor workmanship and productivity, ensuring adherence to project standardsCoordinate with other disciplines (welding, electrical, instrumentation, etc.) to ensure smooth executionSupport commissioning and system turnover activitiesAssist with material tracking and may support basic cost estimatingMaintain clear communication with project management and provide progress updatesOther duties as required Journeyman Pipefitter certification requiredPrevious foreman or supervisory experience leading pipefitting crewsStrong technical knowledge and proven experience in pipefitting and piping system installationExperience in an industrial or oil & gas environment requiredKnowledge and experience in industrial construction and operationsStrong leadership, planning, and team coordination skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of a project organizationAbility to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and isometrics Required Tickets:
Aerial Work Platform (AWP), and Fall Protection CertificationAs part of the recruitment process, successful clearance of applicable pre-employment checks is required which may include Criminal Background/Police Information check, Drug & Alcohol test, Reference checks as well as submittal of Provincial Driver’s Abstract.
