Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, to deliver packages along assigned routesLoad and unload packages using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when necessaryConduct route driving efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulationsLoad packages onto the vehicle at the warehouse, ensuring proper stacking and securement for transportDeliver packages to residential and commercial addresses, ensuring accurate and timely drop-offsProvide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with recipients during deliveriesCollect signatures or proof of delivery as requiredPerform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are metMaintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any issues encountered during routes Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services, with familiarity in route driving and heavy liftingStrong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customersWarehouse experience preferred, including knowledge of load & unload procedures using forklifts or pallet jacksAbility to operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmission safely and efficientlyExperience with heavy lifting, moving packages, and handling various types of cargo safelyKnowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and package handlingValid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification is a plusAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safetyPhysical stamina for prolonged periods of driving, loading/unloading, and moving packages throughout shifts This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team focused on delivering exceptional service while maintaining safety standards.
