About this role
You will join an international and dynamic team responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of Avaloq’s Web & Mobile Banking platform.
In this role, you will act as a Software Engineer, working at the intersection of development and operations. You will drive automation, enhance system resilience, and support mission-critical production environments.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Develop and maintain mobile banking applications (iOS and/or Android)Deliver high-quality, scalable, and reusable codeImplement new features and enhance existing functionalitiesEnsure stable and efficient operation of the Mobile Banking platformManage tickets end-to-end, including triage, impact analysis, troubleshooting, and resolutionCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve servicesSupport CI/CD pipelines and deployment processesMaintain clear technical documentation and promote knowledge sharingCommunicate effectively with stakeholders and manage expectations Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience in mobile application development (iOS and/or Android)Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, Swift, or Objective-CExperience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Application Support rolesSolid understanding of production environments, monitoring, and incident managementGood knowledge of the mobile development lifecycleExperience integrating REST APIs, SDKs, and third-party librariesFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and DevOps practicesHands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, Artifactory, Python, Groovy, Linux, and BashProficiency with modern platforms and frameworks such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, Ansible, ElasticSearchiOS/Android Store Lifecycle managementFamiliarity with cloud environments and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, client-oriented environmentExcellent communication and collaboration skillsFull professional proficiency in EnglishIt would be a real bonus if you have
Knowledge of SQL and basic understanding of Oracle databasesFamiliarity with the Ergon Product SuiteExperience in banking or financial services
