About this role
You will be part of the Service Operations – Web & Mobile and Crypto Team, which is responsible for ensuring stable platform operations and the continuous improvement of our Avaloq software and products for our clients.
As a Business Analyst, you will act as a key link between our clients, service teams, and development organizations. You will be responsible for analysing business requirements, investigating and resolving production incidents, and ensuring the smooth operation and availability of business-critical applications. Working closely with clients and internal stakeholders, you will help deliver high-quality solutions that address business needs and enhance the overall client experience.
In this role, you will collaborate with Software Engineers, Service Managers, Product teams, Project Delivery teams, and Client Management to identify root causes, resolve incidents, and drive continuous service improvements. You will contribute throughout the entire software lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design to implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
Your key tasks
Ensure the stable and efficient operation of Web & Mobile Banking and Crypto solutions and related third-party applicationsAnalyse and consolidate client requirements, translating business needs into functional and technical specificationsManage incidents and service requests end-to-end, including triage, impact analysis, troubleshooting, coordination, and resolutionAct as a trusted point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring effective communicationSupport the onboarding of new banking services into service delivery and operational support Support testing activities, including functional validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Contribute to the successful delivery of product enhancements and new functionalitiesMaintain clear documentation and actively promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the team Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalentProven experience as a Business Analyst, or significant experience in the banking or financial services industry with strong business analysis responsibilitiesHigh level knowledge of web application infrastructure (DNS, firewall, Web application firewall)Knowledge of digital banking, mobile banking or web banking platformsFamiliarity with digital onboarding, authentication, identity management, or security solutionsFamiliarity with cloud environments and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge and experience in RDBMS, Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQLStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think conceptually about complex business challengesCompetencies in log analysis, using unix terminal or elastic searchExcellent communication and client-orientation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirementsSelf-motivated, proactive, and organized working approach with a demonstrated passion for continuous learningFull professional fluency in English (written and verbal)It would be a real bonus if you have
