About this role
As part of Avaloq's Strategy & Corporate Development team, you will play a leading role in shaping Avaloq's long-term strategy and driving key corporate development initiatives. You will work directly with the executive leadership team and senior business leaders to define strategic priorities, evaluate growth opportunities, and support major business and investment decisions.
This is a highly visible role for an experienced strategy professional who combines strategic insight, commercial judgment, and the ability to drive complex initiatives from concept to execution.
Your key tasks
Drive the development of Avaloq's corporate strategy and corporate development agenda, helping translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and business outcomesIndependently lead strategic analyses, business cases, and executive recommendations on growth, transformation, and performance improvement topicsServe as a strategic partner to senior leaders across sales, delivery, service operations, technology, finance, and other corporate functionsDrive executive-level discussions, prepare Board and Executive Leadership materials, and support strategic decision-making processesHow to apply

5-8 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, private equity, or a comparable strategic roleDeep understanding of banking, fintech, B2B software, or technology-enabled business modelsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including financial modelling, business case development, and strategic decision supportProven ability to structure complex topics into clear recommendations and drive decision-making with senior stakeholdersStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to engage executives across functions and geographiesHigh ownership, resilience, commercial acumen, and a results-oriented mindsetExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German or Italian is a plus We realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices.
