About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Specialist to join our dynamic team in Bioggio, Switzerland. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software to the client.
Your key tasks
Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex software applicationsProactively propose and adopt best practices and methodologies for test, including harnessing AICollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defectsAnalyse test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholdersConduct performance testing and identify areas for optimizationWork closely with project manager, development teams and other stakeholders to manage risks and issuesDesign, update and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring their reusabilitySupport test environments issues to ensure testing can be completed on time (baseline definition and maintenance, assessment on environment readiness)Document and evaluate the result of the testing, investigate testing deficienciesAdhere closely to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) conceptsSupport and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverageContribute to continuous improvement of Test Management processes and procedures University degree in Computer Science, or similarMinimum of 3-5 years of work experience within the banking/financial services industry, especially in testing functionIn-depth knowledge of Test concepts and methodologyExcellent written/verbal communication skills in English with an emphasis on client service and presentationMust be an excellent team player and willing to share knowledge as well ad high level of stress management abilityWorking knowledge of QC/ALM, JIRA, MS Office SuiteStrong analytical and problem-solving competencesTeam player and strong client-orientationAbility to work in a highly challenging, fast-paced and complex environmentExperience with Avaloq banking system solution is a bonus We realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices.
