The Sales Consultant position requires consistent ‘closing’ of sales, increasing sales, and maximizing revenues. Sales associates act as part of a cohesive and ambitious team and must communicate effectively with the General Manager, other members of the Sales Team, and customers to maintain a seamless and efficient operation.
The position entails following-up with previous and potential customers (no cold-calling), posting new vehicles on various listing websites, scheduling appointments with customers, 'sealing the deal', and maintaining a positive customer-dealer relationship post-sale.
Job Requirements:
Working knowledge and experience with the automotive industry is a must.Demonstrated track record of success in sales and customer relations is expected.Comfort being a part of social media and marketing campaigns. Our followers love to see our team on Social Media.A BS/BA in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is a plus. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.Pass pre-employment background check and drug test.Ability to lift and carry 25lbs. Preferred Skills:
Experience with building rapport, establishing trust, and earning customer loyalty.The ability to address customer needs in a prompt, polite, and effective manner.Capacity to work closely with the Social Media and Marketing Teams to continually improve niche in market; and assist in the development of messaging, sales tools, campaigns, promotions and other marketing plans.Willingness to prepare cars for sale; including fueling, moving, demoing, and inspecting vehicles.The ability to work cooperatively but competitively, leads are provided but sales associates are expected to pursue these opportunities and make those sales with minimal assistance.
