About this role
The Treatment Counselor is the champion of patient satisfaction in the office. Treatment counselors will ensure that patients receive a great experience and understand the treatment diagnosed by the dentist. They will also be financial and insurance benefit coordinator experts to obtain treatment acceptance from our patients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Exceed patient expectations in customer serviceAchieve sales and collection goalsGreet, communicate and keep patients informed about their visitObtain high treatment acceptance by explaining cost of treatment, insurance coverage and financial alternatives.Solicit referrals from patientsEnsure highly productive days by managing patient schedulingPatient retention Requirements:
1-3 years dental treatment coordinating (indemnity/PPO/HMO)1-3 years customer service or sales experienceKnowledge of Dental BillingEquivalent of HS Diploma or GEDWorking Knowledge of Microsoft suiteSelf-motivated and ambitious sales attitudeExcellent communication skillsOutgoing and friendly personality
