Who You’ll Work With
The Quality Engineer will work with the cross-functional team which includes Hardware, Software, Mechanical, MFG, Test and Supply Chain teams, and will be reporting to Quality Engineering Manager.
What You’ll Do
Establish quality standards and KPIs for products and processes.Play a crucial role in developing and implementing an effective QMS within the organization.Work closely with cross-functional teams including HW, SW and Component Engineering, MFG, Failure Analysis, and supply chain to identify and mitigate quality issues and risks.Develop/Enhance supplier audit processes to ensure high-quality standards.Contribute to supplier SBR/QBRDrive investigations through tiger teams for quality issues and achieve RCA and drive CLCA.Drive 8D process to identify and address quality issues and/or process improvements for NPI, production & sustaining. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. MS is a plus.Experience in Quality Engineering in high-tech manufacturing (preferably networking equipment) and working with contract manufacturing partnersKnowledgeable and practical experience in different Quality Management Systems, such as ISO/TL 9000 and others.Experience in establishing Quality Key Performance Metrics to drive continuous improvements.Experience in PCBA manufacturing, electro-mechanical assembly, and associated processesBroad knowledge of tests, diagnostics, failure analysis, and debug techniquesFoundational knowledge in quality and reliability performance metricsAbility to work cross-functionally, including the ability to balance the technical and business aspects of hardware manufacturing10+ years of related experience in the Semiconductor or Electronic industriesExperience with the Six Sigma approach and methodsBasic understanding of ERP systems and supply chain conceptsSelf-starter who can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentAbility to influence and motivate internal and external partnersStrong communication and presentation skills#LI-SZ1
