Initiate and obtain Quotations from selected Freight forwarders, Transporters & Customs Brokers with specific reference to a shipmentPrepare import / export documentation as assigned and requiredLiaise with different sites and suppliers for shipment collection and delivery of materialLiaise with freight forwarder, brokers & transporters to ensure smooth shipment from start till endEscalate shipping issues to concerned stakeholders as soon as they arise Organize and control delivery of material, equipment, parts etc. from vendor’s origin to project site by deploying most efficient transportation mode (land, sea or air), and by utilizing established frame agreements with Service providers at the balance of safety, costs and time.Provide effective shipment visibility and traceability at all time during project executionProvide to the service provider in charge of shipment (forwarding agent, carrier, etc.) all instructions and documents required for a successful executionAdminister and retain transport/shipping and other statutory documentation i.e. custom forms, exemptions, approval etc. to meet audit and legal requirementsWork to approved logistics procedures and processes in accordance to AGNV policy and other requirement within the Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS)Review logistics performance and activate close-gap or mitigation measures to ensure continuous improvement across the functionEnsure rules and regulations of Customs and other regulatory bodies are being fully adhered to for all permanent and temporary importation/exportation of materials, equipment and parts for project consumptionProvide estimate and recommend logistics costs as required by the projectFulfill System documentation and data entry requirements for effective record keeping and reportingDemonstrate a personal commitment to uphold and secure AGNV Integrated Management System (IMS) and processes and procedures. What you will need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics (Preferred from a recognized/ reputed University)Minimum 5 years’ experience in the same field preferably in freight forwarders handling project cargoPreferred – Specific knowledge of Customs rules & regulations, project cargo, freight forwarding Good Awareness about import / export requirements of material and equipment to/from Saudi ArabiaIf you have a transferable IQAMA the betterAbility to do verbal and written communication in English (Working excellence)What it is nice to have:
Previous work experience in EPC industry, Import / Export company or multinational Freight Forwarding company.You are someone who:
