About this role
As a ADAS & Automated Vehicle Virtual Development engineer and member of the Electronics team at the Applus+ IDIADA Group, your mission will be to develop, maintain and operate virtual environments for ADAS systems. You will play a crucial role in the integration, verification, and validation of these systems through rigorous testing and simulation, ensuring its quality and reliability.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be (for the functions mentioned above):
Design, develop, and maintain HIL test benches for ADAS systemsIntegrate hardware and software components to create an effective simulation environmentCreate and execute test plans and procedures for ADAS components and systemsPerform system integration and functional tests on ADAS hardware and softwareDevelop and manage test features and scenarios for HIL simulationsAnalyse test results and provide detailed reports on system performanceContribute to the continuous improvement of HIL testing processes and toolsMaintain documentation for HIL test benches, procedures, and results
Profile
Proven experience in HIL testing, preferably in the automotive industryExperience in system integration, verification and validationStrong knowledge of ADAS systems and technologiesProficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or MATLABFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations related to ADASExperience with HIL simulation tools (preferably dSPACE & Vector)Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)Knowledge of model-based design and testing methodologiesExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologiesEducation
University degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fieldsLanguage Skills
