We're on the hunt for a passionate, dedicated, Physiotherapist to join our team at our East Tamaki APM office. Reporting to your Team Leader, you’ll be part of a vibrant team culture that supports and empowers each other every day.

Required Skills/Experience: It would be highly preferable if you have skills/experience in the services below:

Physiotherapy Services

Experience in either musculoskeletal, neurological or vestibular rehabilitation

Experience in delivering gym-based, home-based, and functional rehabilitation programmes

Skilled in assessing movement patterns and progressing strength and mobilityTraining For Independence (TI)

Able to deliver individual community rehabilitation programmes focussed on independence and functionSkilled in delivering home and community-based functional rehabilitationAbility to co-ordinate and collaborate with the wider multi-disciplinary teamVocational Rehabilitation (SAW & BTW)

Confident delivering workplace assessments, graduated return-to-work plans and task analysisKnowledge of vocational services pathwaysKey workingConcussion Service

Skilled in assessing and treating concussion and mild to moderate traumatic brain injuryExperience in assessing and treating cervical spine, vestibular, oculomotor systemsCollaborative approach with GPs, specialists and the wider multi-disciplinary teamAged Care

Mobility and Transfer Assessments: Carrying out assessments for new residents in both Hospital-Level Care and Rest Home units.Collaboration with the Physiotherapy Assistant: Work closely with the Physiotherapy Assistant, offering guidance on how they can provide ongoing support and regular input to residents in line with the mobility and maintenance goals.Ongoing Support for Hospital-Level Residents: Closely monitor the mobility needs of each resident admitted under Hospital-Level Care, to help maintain their functional abilities, and recommend updates to care plans when needed.Manual Handling Training: Delivery of training sessions to care and auxiliary staff, as requested by the facility, to ensure safe and effective manual handling practices.What you’ll do
