Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome and greet clients and office guestsSupport office staff and executives with general operational tasksPlan and schedule meetings, presentations, and other office related eventsPerform general accounting and bookkeeping dutiesSuggest changes to office task workflow to improve efficiencyAnswer phones in a professional mannerDirect calls to appropriate persons or take detailed messagesAnswer and send out faxes as neededPrepare outgoing mail and packages for executivesReserve conference spaces for meetingsSchedule travel arrangementsSend reminders regarding upcoming appointmentsManage communication of information in and out of the officeType out correspondence letters, emails, memos, etc. (paper and electronic)Assist in preparation of presentation materials Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent required2+ years experience as an administrative assistantCertified Administrative Professional (CAP) certification preferredFast, proficient, and accurate typistExtensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite and other administrative programsOutstanding communicator, both orally and writtenExcellent customer service skillsSelf-starter who works well independentlyAbility to prioritize given tasks and work efficiently towards completing themFamiliar with common office equipment (printers, copier, fax, etc.) All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
