What you’re responsible for:
Weighing and grading non-ferrous metals accurately using scale systems Inspecting incoming materials and determining classification and valueOperating forklifts and directing the unloading of customer materials safely Providing high-quality customer service and handling inquiries or concerns confidentlyOrganizing yard inventory, including bins and material flowPreparing and closing daily operations, including cleanup and documentation Communicating effectively with customers and team members, including resolving issues when needed To join our team:
You have experience in non-ferrous metals, scrap yard operations, or material gradingYou have experience with scale systems and/or forklift operation (preferred)You are comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentYou demonstrate strong customer service skills, confidence, and the ability to handle challenging situationsYou are reliable, organized, and eager to learn, with strong initiative and common sense
