About this role
We are currently recruiting for a Non-Ferrous Receiver with experience for our Sudbury South location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.
Receive, sort and organize different types of non-ferrous metalsClassify and establish the type of non-ferrous materialProperly weigh and track the materialDo general maintenance of the premisesEnsure the equipment in good conditionData entry into the in-house receiving software Provide excellent customer serviceHelp with torch cutting if necessaryPreparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as requiredWork with a safety oriented mindset To join our team:
Experience in operating a forkliftExperience in metal recycling as assetExperience with computer software and Microsoft office suite an assetAbility to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditionsCustomer Service experience in a retail preferredAbility to work as a teamExcellent attendance and safety record.
