We are looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiver – Labourer to join our Sorel team.
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for receiving, sorting and handling non-ferrous metals. The work is mainly performed indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks depending on operational needs.
This position focuses on manual work, material handling and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for a reliable, active individual who is comfortable performing physical work.
Responsibilities :
Welcome customers and follow applicable procedures;Unload, sort, inspect and handle materials;Identify and classify non-ferrous metals;Weigh and organize materials;Prepare shipments and incoming materials;Maintain site cleanliness and organization;Work safely and follow health and safety standards;Perform other related duties as required to support operations. Experience in an industrial, recycling or related environment (asset);Experience operating a forklift or other equipment (asset);Knowledge of different types of metals (asset);Ability to perform manual work and work indoors, with occasional outdoor work;Good physical condition and comfortable performing repetitive tasks;Responsible, punctual, resourceful and safety-conscious;Strong team player with good collaboration skills.
