About this role
Under the supervision of the Security Officers Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for performing security duties on the work premises.
What you will be responsible for :
Controlling entries and exits (visitors, employees, clients)Patrolling, on foot or by vehicle, the buildings as well as the yard (AIM Montréal and Laval)Assuring excellent Customer serviceEnsuring the protection of evidence in the event of an offenseProtecting the premises in case of an incidentIntervening in case of fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, floods, water leaks, or the presence of hazardous materialsWriting reports and logsCrime preventionLocking and unlocking doorsConducting searches in case of suspicionPerforming any other related tasks To join our team :
You are able to work shifts: nights, weekendsYou have a high school diplomaYou have a valid security guard license issued by the Bureau de la Sécurité PrivéeYou have valid first aid certificationYou have a valid Class 5 driver’s licenseYou are bilingual, French and English (written and spoken)You have a clean criminal recordYou have the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and rationallyYou have excellent judgment, observation, and communication skillsYou have completed a first aid course and hold your CPR cardYou have good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) American Iron and Metal (AIM) and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
