About this role
Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the Loader Operator picks up and delivers the trailer for the different departments in the yard as well as any other handling of equipment requiring the use of their machine. They also will weigh various metals as they enter or leave the yard.
Responsibilities:
Receive metals and deposit to the designated locationUnload trailer(s) and perform quality control inspection(s)Transport containers of non-ferrous materialLoad ferrous products for customersPerform hardware identification tests using appropriate magnets or productsPerform inventory of stock according to established schedule General maintenance of equipment Any other related tasks requested by the manager
Minimum 1 year experience in a similiar role Class 5 license considered an asset Employment Conditions
