We are currently looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiver Labourer to join our team in Victoriaville.
The person in this position will mainly be responsible for the receiving, sorting, and handling of non-ferrous metals. The work is primarily performed indoors, with some occasional outdoor tasks depending on operational needs.
This position is focused on manual work, material handling, and metal sorting in a dynamic industrial environment. We are looking for someone reliable, active, and comfortable with physical work.
What you will be responsible for :
Welcome customers and follow established procedures;Unload, sort, and identify different types of non-ferrous metals;Weigh and classify materials and enter information into the system;Prepare incoming and outgoing material shipments;Operate the forklift safely;Keep the work area, equipment, and workplace clean and in good condition;Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance;Wear the required PPE and perform other related duties. You have experience in an industrial environment (asset);You have experience operating a forklift or other equipment (asset);You have knowledge of different types of metals (asset);You are comfortable with manual and physical work;You are comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed;You are responsible, punctual, resourceful, and safety-conscious;You enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with your colleagues. * The $1,000 bonus will be paid in three equal installments: the first after 3 months of service (provided the probationary period is successfully completed), the second after 6 months of service, and the third after 9 months of service.
