About this role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Lead for our AFS Operations in Bengaluru, India. As a Floor Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily production activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining high-quality standards in our advanced manufacturing facility.
Lead and manage a team of production operators, providing guidance, support, and performance feedbackCoordinate daily production activities to meet targets and deadlines while maintaining quality standardsImplement and monitor quality control processes to ensure product consistency and customer satisfactionCollaborate with other departments to optimize production schedules and workflowIdentify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivityEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the production areaParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costsTrain and develop team members on new processes, equipment, and safety proceduresMaintain accurate production records and generate reports for management reviewContribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleProven track record of leading teams and improving operational efficiencyStrong knowledge of quality control processes and continuous improvement methodologiesExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in manufacturing software and toolsExperience with Lean Six Sigma principles (Lean Six Sigma certification preferred)In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and best practicesFamiliarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements in a production environmentAbility to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as requiredWillingness to relocate to or currently reside in Bengaluru, India WORKING AT ALTISOURCE ADVANTAGES
