Safe handling, movement, restraint and relocation of patientsMaintenance of all biosecurity, cleanliness, and isolation protocolsProficient sample acquisition, phlebotomy, laboratory & surgical practicesRead, interpret and assist with the implementation of written medical treatmentsPRACTICE PATIENT RELATED DUTIES...

Triage and assist incoming patient based on urgency of care and available resources Assist and perform in the vaccination of animals Assist in surgical procedures and/or dental prophylaxis Monitor and recover all assigned sedation and anesthetic events Assist and perform first aid and euthanasia *This is an overnight position with working hours starting at 10 pm and ending at 8 am**

Certified Veterinary Technician, 1+ year experience preferred but not requiredPart-Time or Full-Time options availableA high work ethic and positive attitude team memberAbility to arrive on-time and ready to workWeekend availability, 36 hours a week, 12 hour shiftsExceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate preciselyInterpret medical records and record client history accuratelyKnowledge in preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flowAbility to restrain pets in a low-stress and safe mannerProficient in sample collection to include blood samples, urine, fecal, and skinAbility to properly set-up and process laboratory samples and testsProficient in positioning and capturing radiographsA self-starter with the desire to continue to advance one’s knowledge and skillsetAbility to receive in a professional manner constructive feedback to maintain hospital efficiency PAY RANGE: $20 - $25/hr. Based on Experience | +Night Shift Premium
