About this role
What you'll do: Provide urgent, same-day veterinary care for pets with acute illness, injury, or other pressing medical needs Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical and surgical cases Help establish workflows, protocols, and scheduling as we grow into expanded urgent care hours Build trusted relationships with clients and the Bluffton community Collaborate with a supportive, experienced team of veterinarians and technicians What we're looking for: DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary program Active or eligible South Carolina veterinary license Prior clinical experience required — this role is best suited for an experienced doctor comfortable managing urgent cases independently Openness and enthusiasm for helping build out a new urgent care schedule and workflow Strong communication skills and genuine compassion for animals and their owners Open to both part-time and full-time candidates WE ARE A DRUG-FREE, SMOKE-FREE, EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
