What You’ll Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Veterinarian Technician may include:

Safely restraining patients using low-stress handling techniquesTriaging incoming veterinary patients and supporting efficient hospital flowCollecting and processing blood, urine, fecal, and skin samplesPerforming and processing veterinary laboratory testsObtaining accurate patient histories and documenting medical recordsAssisting with diagnostic imaging, including positioning and capturing radiographsDental radiograph experience is a plusProviding nursing care and monitoring hospitalized veterinary patientsAdministering medications as directed by the veterinary teamPreparing patients for surgery and assisting with veterinary surgical proceduresMonitoring patients during anesthesia and recoveryCommunicating treatment plans and care instructions clearly and professionally with clientsSupporting the veterinarians and veterinary team in providing safe, compassionate patient care What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a Veterinarian Technician with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine passion for veterinary medicine. You’ll be a great fit if you’re dependable, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy being part of a team that supports one another.

Ideal candidates will have:

At least 1 year of veterinary experience preferredCVT, RVT, or LVT credentials are a plusStrong customer service and communication skillsExperience with veterinary medical records and client historiesKnowledge of preventive care, surgical procedures, and hospital workflowProficiency with safe and effective animal restraintExperience collecting and processing laboratory samplesExperience positioning and capturing radiographsAnesthesia and surgical monitoring experienceA self-starter mindset and desire to continue developing veterinary skillsThe ability to receive and apply constructive feedback professionallyAt Frontier Veterinary Clinic, you’ll have opportunities for hands-on, interactive training and continued development. This position requires the ability to work around unpleasant odors and noises and may involve exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases.

Pay: $14-19/hr depending on experience
