What You’ll Do
In this veterinary role, your responsibilities may include:
Safely restraining patients for examinations, treatments, and proceduresTriaging incoming veterinary patients and helping the team prioritize careCollecting and processing laboratory samplesAssisting with diagnostic imaging, including digital radiographsProviding nursing care and monitoring hospitalized patients with varying levels of stabilityAdministering medications as directed by the veterinary teamObtaining medical histories and communicating treatment plans and instructions to clientsPreparing patients for surgery and assisting with veterinary surgical proceduresSupporting anesthesia monitoring and patient recoveryHelping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming veterinary environmentOur hospital uses modern veterinary technology and diagnostic tools, including ultrasound, digital X-ray, in-house laboratory capabilities, and other diagnostic equipment. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced veterinarians and veterinary technicians while gaining exposure to a wide range of cases and services.

We’re looking for someone who has:
At least 1 year of veterinary assistant experienceWeekend and holiday availability Strong animal handling and restraint skillsExperience with sample collection, medical histories, laboratory testing, and radiographsAn interest in continuing to develop veterinary skills and knowledgeA self-starter mindset and willingness to learnStrong communication and teamwork skillsAnesthesia monitoring experience is a plus We offer our staff:
Pay: $15/hr + depending on experience
