What You’ll Do

As part of our veterinary team, your day may include:

Safely restraining patients for veterinary examinations and proceduresTriaging incoming patients and assisting with patient assessmentsCollecting and processing laboratory samplesAssisting with diagnostic imaging and radiographsProviding nursing care and monitoring hospitalized patients with varying levels of stabilityAdministering medications as directed by the veterinary teamObtaining medical histories and communicating with clients about treatment plansPreparing patients for surgery and assisting with surgical proceduresSupporting anesthesia monitoring and patient recoveryMaintaining a clean, organized, and safe veterinary environmentNo two days are exactly alike in veterinary medicine, and this role is a great fit for someone who enjoys staying active, learning new skills, and working closely with a collaborative team.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a compassionate, dependable Veterinary Assistant who enjoys working with both people and pets. Previous veterinary experience is preferred, with at least one year of experience being a plus.

The ideal candidate is:

Calm, compassionate, and comfortable working with a variety of animalsA strong team player and communicatorComfortable properly restraining petsAble to multitask and prioritize in a busy veterinary settingA self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys learningFamiliar with sample collection, obtaining medical histories, laboratory testing, and radiographsExperienced with anesthesia monitoring or other advanced veterinary skills is a bonusGrow Your Veterinary Career With Us
