About this role
What you’ll do
Provide emergency and urgent medical/surgical care for small animal patients.Triage and stabilize critical patients; perform emergency surgeries and diagnostics.Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about status, prognosis, and treatment options.Work collaboratively with technicians and support staff; mentor colleagues as needed.Maintain accurate medical records and follow hospital protocols and standards. DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary school.Current NC veterinary license (or ability to obtain licensure).Emergency medicine experience preferred; motivated new graduates with emergency skillset considered.Strong procedural skills (intubation, venipuncture, urinary catheterization, basic emergency surgery).Excellent communication, teamwork, and client-service orientation.Ability to work variable shifts including nights and weekends.#IND5
