About this role
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Document processing, scanning and updatingAccount follow up including contacting patients, insurances, attorneys, and local records departments.Daily client interaction, with professionalism and punctuality ALWAYS requiredMeeting deadlines and completing assigned tasks timely and efficiently.Mailing and faxing documents needed in an effort to obtain payment on behalf of our clientPhone work and system updating. Will be responsible for working off of multiple systems and multitasking. High School DiplomaPatient Registration or Financial Counselor experience a PLUSInsurance verification Computer savvy, 40 wpm, 10-key by touch, Microsoft Office, internet and ability to quickly learn new systemsStrong interpersonal communication skills, including dealing with patients, clients, insurance companies, etc.Strong phone etiquette Must be prompt and presentable Dependable transportation8-5 shifts Monday through FridayCriminal background check will be performed
Pay and Benefits
$13-$15 hourly (depending on experience with hospital billing)
