What You Will Do
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance teamOversee all maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, service requests, apartment turns, inventory management, and vendor relationshipsEnsure work orders are completed efficiently and to company standardsPartner with community leadership to identify maintenance priorities, capital needs, and asset preservation initiativesManage maintenance budgets and expenses while maintaining exceptional quality and resident satisfactionMaintain compliance with AIR Communities operating standards, safety protocols, and applicable regulationsPromote a culture of accountability, customer service, and operational excellenceMaintain a safe, organized, and efficient maintenance operation that supports long-term property performance What You Have
3+ years of maintenance and facilities management experience within multifamily housing or a related industryPrevious experience leading and developing maintenance teamsStrong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repair, preventive maintenance programs, and general building operationsExperience managing vendors, budgets, and maintenance operationsStrong customer service, communication, and organizational skillsReliable transportationAbility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as neededAbility to perform physical job duties and move equipment as requiredAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishWho You Are
