Your key responsibilities
Guide and support junior designers through mentoring, technical coaching, and design reviewsPrepare and verify structural calculations in accordance with Eurocodes and Finnish national standardsPerform and support 3D modeling as part of the design and coordination processReview and validate calculations, drawings, and models to ensure accuracy and consistencyEnsure designs meet applicable regulations, standards, and client requirementsCoordinate and review the structural design and deliverables towards local finnish client and contractor demandsTake responsibility for the quality of structural designs and deliverablesAbility to coordinate and drive issues to the end by proactive communication with other engineers We expect that you have
Master’s degree or equivalent in Structural EngineeringFluent in EnglishOver 10 years of experience in structural designProficient use of RFEM, Tekla Structures, and AutoCADAt least 3 years of experience working on projects in the Nordic countriesExperience in project managementProven track record with reference projects in industrial and public sector projectsAbility to work independentlyStrong sense of responsibility and accountabilityAbility to monitor and continuously improve qualityAbility to apply local country-specific quality requirements in daily workWe appreciate if you have
Experience in a supervisory or line management roleExperience with Finnish design projectsKnowledge of building physicsFamiliarity with Eurocode Finnish national annexesMaster’s degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering (EU)Finnish language skills
