Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with over 10 years of expertise in designing, implementing, and managing electrical systems for Annex Building projects within Airport Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of electrical systems, airport-specific requirements, and advanced technologies to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This role demands technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver innovative electrical solutions in complex airport environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement electrical systems for annex buildings, including power distribution, lighting, and backup systems.Ensure integration of electrical systems with airport-wide infrastructure, including terminals, airside, and landside operations.Conduct load calculations, system analysis, and feasibility studies for electrical designs.Manage and maintain airport-specific electrical systems such as runway and taxiway lighting, apron lighting, and airfield power systems.Ensure seamless operation of critical systems, including uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), generators, and emergency lighting.Support the integration of advanced technologies, such as energy-efficient lighting and smart electrical controls.Oversee electrical aspects of annex building projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure electrical requirements are met.Manage procurement processes for electrical equipment and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with project specifications.Supervise the installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.Conduct rigorous testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with aviation standards.Support airport sustainability goals by integrating renewable energy sources, such as solar power, into electrical systems. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, with a focus on annex building projects within airports.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and airport-specific electrical requirements.Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools.Familiarity with smart electrical systems, energy-efficient technologies, and renewable energy solutions.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated experience in large-scale airport projects, including terminal buildings, annex facilities, and airside infrastructure.Knowledge of sustainable electrical solutions and energy-efficient practices.Familiarity with international standards and codes, such as ICAO, FAA, and local building regulations.
